A Community Rehabilitation Worker acts in a support and assistance role to provide direct personal and health care services to individuals with disabilities. They are responsible to:

• Provide direct service delivery to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Provide and maintain an atmosphere conducive to developing self-esteem and self-confidence
• Provide an appropriate role model at all times to individuals in the program
• Provide individuals with opportunities to go out into the community for structured or informal recreation, shopping, etc.
• To maintain confidentiality
• Provide transportation to individuals when required or needed

Provide input on individual programming regarding each individual in the program
