Taber Special Needs Society provides life skills support to assist adults with developmental disabilities to take the “dis” out of dis-abled.  Individuals are “able” to live in their own homes ... “able” to work towards the kind of life they choose and desire as Taber Special Needs Society helps them focus on opportunities and challenges of daily living in their own homes and as part of the community.

Taber Special Needs Society believes people should have choices in where, how and who they live with.  We also recognize the importance of family in achieving dreams, goals and desires.  Families take the lead and Taber Special Needs offers a supporting role to en-“able” individuals to live the type of life they choose and need.
